Additional support may be available for lower-budget films, particularly those shot in remote locations or projects that actively incorporate training and mentoring opportunities for Indigenous production talent, helping to strengthen capacity within the industry while advancing the film itself.

The Indigenous stream operates nationally and follows specific intake periods aligned with low-budget English-language projects, with applications currently accepted during scheduled openings throughout the year.
