The program focuses on innovations that improve outcomes across key areas such as reproductive health access, screening and early detection for female cancers, perinatal and post-natal care, and mental health interventions tailored to women’s needs. Eligible projects can involve regulated medical devices or digital health solutions, including data-driven platforms, artificial intelligence, and clinical IT systems designed to support healthcare organizations. Funding is non-repayable and can reach up to around $1.5 million per project over multiple years, helping offset a meaningful portion of research and development costs while encouraging strong private-sector participation.
